Delegation Information
All participants of the European Swimming Championships should have a valid Russian visa for their entry and stay in the country.
The Organising Committee will facilitate an entry visa to Kazan, Russia, by providing the official Letter of Invitation for all participants of the Championships.
The city of Kazan can be easily reached by plane. The Kazan International Airport named after Gabdulla Tukay is located 26 kilometres away to the south-east of the city.
The Organising Committee arranges meet and greet services day and night in accordance with the arrivals and departures schedule from/to all points of arrival to/from official places of accommodation for participants.
The staff of the Organising Committee meets participants at points of arrival with pickup signs in accordance with the arrivals schedule.
Championships participants will be provided with all necessary information support during baggage claim (including assistance with lost baggage).
Four hotels will be recommended to accommodate delegations during the preparation and staging of the Championships. To book a room, please fill in the booking form and send it to until 30 September 2021
Location, quality of accommodation and a variety of additional services were taken into account when compiling a list of official hotels.
During the Championships, participants will be transported between official hotels and the competition venue by shuttle buses.
There will be special desks at official hotels where participants can find out information about the event's transportation system. Transport coordinators and volunteers will be available at official hotels to offer information to Championships participants.
To facilitate identification of shuttle buses and transportation routes, all shuttle buses will be equipped with information plates of a standard form.

Organising Committee issues the Letter of Invitation upon the request from the National Federations, sent to the official e-mail address: by the deadline October 1, 2021.
Request for the Letter of Invitation must contain participant's scanned copy of a valid passport (the passport expiry date must be no earlier than May 12, 2022).
On the basis of the information received, the Organising Committee will issue the Letter of Invitation, which will be sent to the participant and to the National Federation by e-mail.
Upon receiving the Letter of Invitation, the participant is to collect all the documents in accordance with the requirements of the Embassy/Consulate of the Russian Federation and submit the documents, together with the Invitation issued by the Organising Committee, to the Embassy/Consulate of the Russian Federation, no earlier than one month prior to the event.
